The flake ice machine is mainly composed of a compressor, an expansion valve, a condenser, and an evaporator, forming a closed-loop refrigeration system. The flake ice machine evaporator is a vertically erected barrel structure, mainly composed of an ice cutter, a main shaft, a water sprinkling pan, and a water receiving tray. Driven by the reducer, they rotate slowly counterclockwise. Water enters the water distribution tray from the water inlet of the flake ice machine evaporator, and is evenly sprinkled on the inner wall of the evaporator through the water sprinkling tray to form a water film; the water film exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the evaporator flow channel, and the temperature drops rapidly, forming a thin layer of ice on the inner wall of the evaporator. Under the squeeze of the ice cutter, it breaks into flake ice and falls into the ice storage tank from the ice drop port. Some of the unfrozen water flows back to the cold water tank from the return water port through the water receiving tray, and enters the next cycle through the cold water circulation pump.
